Artefacts© est un site de consultation partielle de la base de données Dicobj©, qui fait partie intégrante de Syslat©, système de documentation archéologique conçu et élaboré par Michel Py (UMR 5140 du CNRS).
Syslat© inclut notamment trois dictionnaires consacrés au mobilier archéologique :
- pour la céramique, Dicocer (dont une version papier a été éditée en 1993, le corpus en 2001);
- pour les monnaies, Dicomon (version papier en cours de publication pour 2011);
- pour les objets, Dicobj (pas de version papier prévue à ce jour)j.
Conçu et géré par l'UMR 5140 (CNRS, INRAP, SRA Languedoc-Roussillon et Université Montpellier III), Dicobj est coordonné par Michel Feugère.
Artefacts is an ambitious project aiming to build up an online Encyclopaedia of archaeological small finds. The database covers all periods from the early Bronze Age down to early Industrial periods, and its geographical scope is large : Europe and the Mediterranean. At the moment the project groups ca. 30 authors from various status, working in network. Of course, the database grows up according to the ability of this group : as it is open and in constant progress, it is likely to imagine that the website is going to develop according to the evolution of the authors themselves. Artefacts is the visible part of the database Dicobj, created by Michel Py for the UMR 5140 of the Cnrs.
